Welcome! We know that deciding to go along to church for the first time can be daunting. Here are some answers to questions you might have thought of, and if you have any others, feel free to contact us on 021 217 2105
What we do
Our Worship Service starts at 6.00pm and we have some singing, a speaker will bring a message from the Bible and we will take Communion (not necessarily in that order). Communion is a special part of the service where we take a small piece of bread and a tiny cup of grape juice which represents Christ’s sacrifice for us. There is also an opportunity to give financially to the work of the church. You don’t have to join in with either of these, you are welcome to just observe. After the service we finish on fellowship and a potluck dinner.
What to wear
Just wear what you are comfortable in, whether it happens to be a t-shirt and shorts, or a suit or dress for example, it doesn’t matter. Come as you are!
Will I be singled out?
We usually have people at the door who will greet you as you come in. Feel free to chat as much as you are comfortable with. And no, we won’t single you out in front of everybody, you can just relax. No pressure!
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! - we encourage the whole family to come along and enjoy fellowship time together.
